Andrew
M. Weir Mr. Weir has been a licensed and
practicing attorney at law for over 33 years and has been
assigned an AV rating (legal ability rating of “A”—meaning
very high to preeminent and a general recommendation rating
of “V”—meaning very high) by Martindale-Hubbell
Law Directory. He was awarded his undergraduate and law
degrees from Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana (B.A.
1964; J.D. 1966). Mr. Weir, who served as a Judge Advocate
General Corps officer in the United States Army Reserve,
is a member of the Louisiana State, Jefferson Parish, and
New Orleans Bar Associations, and of the Legal Section of
the Commercial Law League of America.
He is licensed to practice before all courts in the State
of Louisiana, the United States District Court for the Eastern
District of Louisiana, the United States Court of Appeals
for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Weir has served on the Board of Directors for the Lighthouse
for the Blind, the Easter Seal Society of Louisiana for
Children and Adults with Disabilities, Inc., and the United
Methodist Foundation for the State of Louisiana. He is a
sought-after speaker for various social, religious and professional
